How to Register Travel With a US Consulate

1. Go to the registration home page at https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/home.asp
2. click the REGISTER MY TRIP button on right hand side of page.
3. Fill in Name Address and Phone.
4. Fill in passport number and date of issue and expiration.
5. Fill in emergency contact information.
6. Add additional travelers if needed.
7. Fill in dates of arrival and departure, as well as purpose of visit.
8. Fill in destination (hotel, school, work, or whatever applies) and address.
9. Add additional destinations if required.
10. Choose to whom your information can be shared (Family, Friends, Legal Representative, Media, Medical Rep, Members of Congress and Other).
11. Add additional details if you like.
12. Proceed to confirmation page.
